Tropical 30 ml shortfill Coil in Bristol: the compare shortlist
Tropical in Bristol: 24 units tested over 6 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Delivery, returns and what 2–4 business days really means
Tropical sounds like one product. It is not: a 30 ml shortfill running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Tropical prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £1.81 per 10 ml.
The short version: tropical in Bristol works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical 30 ml shortfill really costs in Bristol
Tropical 30 ml shortfill reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested tropical in a 30 ml shortfill
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised £58 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £1.81 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
Is tropical legal to sell in the UK?
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
How much does a 30 ml shortfill cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £1.81 per 10 ml liquid plus £58 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
