How to tell a good nicotine salt bottle from a repack
We run blackcurrant the same way in Bristol: same nicotine salt bottle, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Blackcurrant in Bristol reaches the shelf in nicotine salt bottle formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the nicotine salt bottle you buy decides how long blackcurrant tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a blackcurrant nicotine salt bottle really costs in Bristol
We run blackcurrant the same way in Bristol: same nicotine salt bottle, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested blackcurrant in a nicotine salt bottle
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Coil type inside the nicotine salt bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a nicotine salt bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why blackcurrant tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a nicotine salt bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Mixing blackcurrant with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here

Packaging for blackcurrant in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
