Sourcherry in Bristol: 13 units tested over 3 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Coil life, liquid cost and the sourcherry habit
The honest read on sourcherry: 13 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Sourcherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.31 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long sourcherry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested sourcherry in a refill pack
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sourcherry bottle shipped into Bristol.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
