Tropical RDA Coil in Bristol: the online shortlist
Tropical in Bristol: 10 units tested over 2 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Coil life, liquid cost and the tropical habit
A tropical RDA from the online options in Bristol costs about £3.3 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run tropical the same way in Bristol: same RDA, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.

How we tested tropical in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £54 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.3 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for tropical in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should tropical start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
How long does tropical in a RDA last?
In Bristol we measured 2 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Do you ship tracked orders to Bristol?
Yes, tracked to 2–4 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
