What a mintice pen device really costs in Bristol
A mintice pen device from the starter options in Bristol costs about £2.09 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested mintice in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mintice bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
Where mintice goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £67 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.09 per 10 ml.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mintice in Bristol survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £2.09 per 10 ml liquid plus £67 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is mintice legal to sell in the UK?
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Why does mintice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the mintice blend itself harsh.
