Caramel in Bristol: 11 units tested over 3 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What caramel costs in Bristol
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.97 per 10 ml.
There is no single best way to buy Coil in Bristol. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long caramel tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a caramel box mod really costs in Bristol
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.97 per 10 ml.
How we tested caramel in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why caramel tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long caramel in Bristol survives.
- Treating the advertised £53 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.97 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Why does caramel taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the caramel blend itself harsh.
