Tropical sub-ohm kit Coil in Bristol: the flat shortlist
Tropical in Bristol: 17 units tested over 5 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
How to tell a good sub-ohm kit from a repack
Tropical in a sub-ohm kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you are looking at tropical in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the sub-ohm kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: tropical in Bristol works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical sub-ohm kit really costs in Bristol
Tropical sounds like one product. It is not: a sub-ohm kit running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested tropical in a sub-ohm kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised £31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.81 per 10 ml.

Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
