Tropical RDA Coil in Bristol: the guide shortlist
Tropical in Bristol: 14 units tested over 7 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Where buyers go wrong with tropical in Bristol
We run tropical the same way in Bristol: same RDA, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A tropical RDA from the starter options in Bristol costs about £3.24 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: tropical in Bristol works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical RDA really costs in Bristol
Tropical RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 14 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested tropical in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised £40 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.24 per 10 ml.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.

| Entry kit | £40 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | £3.24 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
