Tropical pod kit Coil in Bristol: the review shortlist
Tropical in Bristol: 17 units tested over 5 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What tropical costs in Bristol
Tropical sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you are looking at tropical in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Below is the run we did for this search: 17 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tropical pod kit really costs in Bristol
Tropical in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested tropical in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £1.66 per 10 ml.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order Coil online in Bristol?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 2–4 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On tropical the budget price and the premium price can sit within £1.66 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
