Tropical pen device Coil in Bristol: the guide shortlist
Tropical in Bristol: 22 units tested over 4 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
A tropical pen device from the starter options in Bristol costs about £3.44 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Tropical pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tropical pen device really costs in Bristol
Tropical prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.44 per 10 ml.
How we tested tropical in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
