Sweet box mod Coil in Bristol: the budget shortlist
Sweet in Bristol: 9 units tested over 9 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Coil life, liquid cost and the sweet habit
Sweet box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run sweet the same way in Bristol: same box mod, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long sweet tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sweet box mod really costs in Bristol
Sweet in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested sweet in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a sweet bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing sweet with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
