Sour RDA Coil in Bristol: the online shortlist
Sour in Bristol: 15 units tested over 8 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What the label on Sour is allowed to say
Sour sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.06 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 15 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sour RDA really costs in Bristol
Sour RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 15 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested sour in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into Bristol.
Where sour goes wrong
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
