Sour nicotine salt bottle Coil in Bristol: the flat shortlist
Sour in Bristol: 9 units tested over 8 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What sour costs in Bristol
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.44 per 10 ml.
Most people searching Coil in Bristol are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the nicotine salt bottle you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour nicotine salt bottle really costs in Bristol
The honest read on sour: 9 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested sour in a nicotine salt bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the nicotine salt bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where sour goes wrong
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised £32 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.44 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sour the budget price and the premium price can sit within £3.44 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
How much does a nicotine salt bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £3.44 per 10 ml liquid plus £32 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
