Salted pen device Coil in Bristol: the deals shortlist
Salted in Bristol: 17 units tested over 7 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What the label on Salted is allowed to say
There is no single best way to buy Coil in Bristol. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
We run salted the same way in Bristol: same pen device, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: salted in Bristol works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted pen device really costs in Bristol
A salted pen device from the discounted options in Bristol costs about £1.69 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested salted in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Bristol.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
Where salted goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised £58 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £1.69 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Bristol?
Yes, tracked to 2–4 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How long does salted in a pen device last?
In Bristol we measured 7 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
