Plum sub-ohm kit Coil in Bristol: the deals shortlist
Plum in Bristol: 13 units tested over 3 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What the label on Plum is allowed to say
If you are looking at plum in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the sub-ohm kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
We run plum the same way in Bristol: same sub-ohm kit, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: plum in Bristol works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum sub-ohm kit really costs in Bristol
A plum sub-ohm kit from the discounted options in Bristol costs about £2.82 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested plum in a sub-ohm kit
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
Where plum goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised £41 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.82 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Bristol survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
