Plum nicotine salt bottle Coil in Bristol: the cheap shortlist
Plum in Bristol: 7 units tested over 9 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What plum costs in Bristol
Plum sounds like one product. It is not: a nicotine salt bottle running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
We run plum the same way in Bristol: same nicotine salt bottle, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the nicotine salt bottle you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum nicotine salt bottle really costs in Bristol
A plum nicotine salt bottle from the cheapest options in Bristol costs about £2.67 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested plum in a nicotine salt bottle
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a nicotine salt bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
Where plum goes wrong
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Bristol survives.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should plum start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a nicotine salt bottle.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
Is plum legal to sell in the UK?
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
