Plain pod kit Coil in Bristol: the cheap shortlist
Plain in Bristol: 24 units tested over 7 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Ordering Coil to Bristol: the practical version
Plain pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £1.68 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain pod kit really costs in Bristol
Most people searching Coil in Bristol are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested plain in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where plain goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised £28 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £1.68 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.

Frequently asked questions
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
How long does plain in a pod kit last?
In Bristol we measured 7 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plain the budget price and the premium price can sit within £1.68 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
