Plain 30 ml shortfill Coil in Bristol: the order shortlist
Plain in Bristol: 10 units tested over 8 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Delivery, returns and what 2–4 business days really means
We run plain the same way in Bristol: same 30 ml shortfill, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Plain 30 ml shortfill reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: plain in Bristol works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain 30 ml shortfill really costs in Bristol
Plain in Bristol reaches the shelf in 30 ml shortfill formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested plain in a 30 ml shortfill
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
Where plain goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Bristol survives.

Frequently asked questions
How long does plain in a 30 ml shortfill last?
In Bristol we measured 8 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plain the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.95 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
