Pear starter kit Coil in Bristol: the compare shortlist
Pear in Bristol: 11 units tested over 7 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Coil life, liquid cost and the pear habit
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.6 per 10 ml.
Pear in Bristol reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Below is the run we did for this search: 11 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a pear starter kit really costs in Bristol
If you are looking at pear in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested pear in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where pear goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for pear in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order Coil online in Bristol?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 2–4 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How much does a starter kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £2.6 per 10 ml liquid plus £39 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
