Nutty pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 18 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long nutty tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a nutty pen device really costs in Bristol
We run nutty the same way in Bristol: same pen device, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested nutty in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a nutty bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
Where nutty goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long nutty in Bristol survives.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing nutty with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does nutty taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the nutty blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On nutty the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.89 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should nutty start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
