Melon RDA Coil in Bristol: the deals shortlist
Melon in Bristol: 18 units tested over 9 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
How we tested Melon RDA here
We run melon the same way in Bristol: same RDA, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The honest read on melon: 18 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: melon in Bristol works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a melon RDA really costs in Bristol
The honest read on melon: 18 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested melon in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where melon goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £47 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £1.84 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

| Nicotine ceiling | 20 mg/mL | Legal retail limit in the UK |

| Entry kit | £47 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | £1.84 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
