Licorice starter kit Coil in Bristol: the online shortlist
Licorice in Bristol: 8 units tested over 7 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What licorice costs in Bristol
We run licorice the same way in Bristol: same starter kit, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Licorice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.54 per 10 ml.
The short version: licorice in Bristol works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a licorice starter kit really costs in Bristol
Licorice in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested licorice in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £62 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.54 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long licorice in Bristol survives.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order Coil online in Bristol?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 2–4 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How long does licorice in a starter kit last?
In Bristol we measured 7 to 8 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
