Licorice RDA Coil in Bristol: the review shortlist
Licorice in Bristol: 24 units tested over 5 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Delivery, returns and what 2–4 business days really means
If you are looking at licorice in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
A licorice RDA from the reviewed options in Bristol costs about £2.79 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: licorice in Bristol works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a licorice RDA really costs in Bristol
Licorice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.79 per 10 ml.
How we tested licorice in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why licorice tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for licorice in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £2.79 per 10 ml liquid plus £52 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is licorice legal to sell in the UK?
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Why does licorice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the licorice blend itself harsh.
