Iced pen device Coil in Bristol: the compare shortlist
Iced in Bristol: 7 units tested over 7 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Ordering Coil to Bristol: the practical version
Iced sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.96 per 10 ml.
The short version: iced in Bristol works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a iced pen device really costs in Bristol
There is no single best way to buy Coil in Bristol. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested iced in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every iced bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where iced goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £58 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.96 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing iced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £2.96 per 10 ml liquid plus £58 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On iced the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.96 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
