Iced box mod Coil in Bristol: the cheap shortlist
Iced in Bristol: 10 units tested over 7 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Where buyers go wrong with iced in Bristol
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.41 per 10 ml.
Iced box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: iced in Bristol works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a iced box mod really costs in Bristol
We run iced the same way in Bristol: same box mod, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested iced in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
Where iced goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why iced tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long iced in Bristol survives.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for iced in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
