Guava in Bristol: 19 units tested over 4 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Ordering Coil to Bristol: the practical version
We run guava the same way in Bristol: same refill pack, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Guava prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.88 per 10 ml.
The short version: guava in Bristol works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a guava refill pack really costs in Bristol
A guava refill pack from the online options in Bristol costs about £2.88 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested guava in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where guava goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
