How we tested Guava pen device here
Guava prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.34 per 10 ml.
The honest read on guava: 14 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: guava in Bristol works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a guava pen device really costs in Bristol
Guava pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 14 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested guava in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where guava goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
