Guava pen device Coil in Bristol: the cheap shortlist
Guava in Bristol: 14 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Coil life, liquid cost and the guava habit
Guava prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.42 per 10 ml.
A guava pen device from the cheapest options in Bristol costs about £3.42 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 14 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a guava pen device really costs in Bristol
We run guava the same way in Bristol: same pen device, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested guava in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every guava bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a guava bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where guava goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why guava tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
