Grapey squonk mod Coil in Bristol: the wholesale shortlist
Grapey in Bristol: 23 units tested over 8 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Choosing a squonk mod for grapey
Grapey in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
We run grapey the same way in Bristol: same squonk mod, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: grapey in Bristol works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a grapey squonk mod really costs in Bristol
Grapey squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 23 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested grapey in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every grapey bottle shipped into Bristol.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why grapey tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for grapey in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.

Frequently asked questions
Why does grapey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the grapey blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should grapey start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £2.95 per 10 ml liquid plus £55 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
