Grapey in Bristol: 18 units tested over 8 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Choosing a refill pack for grapey
If you are looking at grapey in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the refill pack you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
We run grapey the same way in Bristol: same refill pack, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: grapey in Bristol works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a grapey refill pack really costs in Bristol
Grapey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.69 per 10 ml.
How we tested grapey in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Mixing grapey with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised £50 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.69 per 10 ml.

Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the grapey blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On grapey the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.69 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
Is grapey legal to sell in the UK?
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
