Coil life, liquid cost and the grapey habit
We run grapey the same way in Bristol: same 100 ml bottle, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
We run grapey the same way in Bristol: same 100 ml bottle, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the 100 ml bottle you buy decides how long grapey tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a grapey 100 ml bottle really costs in Bristol
Grapey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.46 per 10 ml.
How we tested grapey in a 100 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every grapey bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Coil type inside the 100 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 100 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing grapey with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 100 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for grapey in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order Coil online in Bristol?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 2–4 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does grapey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 100 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the grapey blend itself harsh.
Is grapey legal to sell in the UK?
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
