Frozen squonk mod Coil in Bristol: the compare shortlist
Frozen in Bristol: 21 units tested over 9 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What frozen costs in Bristol
Frozen sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Frozen prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.71 per 10 ml.
The short version: frozen in Bristol works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a frozen squonk mod really costs in Bristol
If you are looking at frozen in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested frozen in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every frozen bottle shipped into Bristol.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Treating the advertised £46 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.71 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order Coil online in Bristol?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 2–4 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does frozen taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the frozen blend itself harsh.
How long does frozen in a squonk mod last?
In Bristol we measured 9 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
