Frozen pen device Coil in Bristol: the cheap shortlist
Frozen in Bristol: 15 units tested over 8 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What frozen costs in Bristol
We run frozen the same way in Bristol: same pen device, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Frozen sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: frozen in Bristol works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a frozen pen device really costs in Bristol
If you are looking at frozen in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested frozen in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a frozen bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why frozen tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long frozen in Bristol survives.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for frozen in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
