Blackcurrant prefilled pod Coil in Bristol: the review shortlist
Blackcurrant in Bristol: 18 units tested over 3 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
How to tell a good prefilled pod from a repack
Blackcurrant prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.52 per 10 ml.
Blackcurrant in a prefilled pod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Below is the run we did for this search: 18 units, prefilled pod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a blackcurrant prefilled pod really costs in Bristol
Most people searching Coil in Bristol are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested blackcurrant in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a blackcurrant bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every blackcurrant bottle shipped into Bristol.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why blackcurrant tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long blackcurrant in Bristol survives.
The rules that apply here
