How we tested berry in a nicotine salt bottle
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a berry bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the nicotine salt bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where berry goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a nicotine salt bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Treating the advertised £44 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.59 per 10 ml.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a nicotine salt bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £3.59 per 10 ml liquid plus £44 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does berry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the berry blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On berry the budget price and the premium price can sit within £3.59 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
