Apple pen device Coil in Bristol: the online shortlist
Apple in Bristol: 7 units tested over 9 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Choosing a pen device for apple
A apple pen device from the online options in Bristol costs about £2.23 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run apple the same way in Bristol: same pen device, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: apple in Bristol works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a apple pen device really costs in Bristol
Apple pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested apple in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every apple bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
Where apple goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why apple tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised £65 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.23 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On apple the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.23 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should apple start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
